Ants

I've learned some things over the years...

1. I think about a lot of stuff!

With a pondering spirit I tend to keep my thoughts going a million miles an hour 24/7; that makes it hard to ever focus on just one thing! Almost like ADD (who knows maybe i should have that checked out).

2. It is very hard to "Be still and know, that I am God" (Psalm 46:10).

I love to have nice quiet time with God, but as of late because of this on going thought highway...it has been really hard for me to just be still and quiet...



At teen camp acouple weeks ago I just prayed that someway somehow God just get through to me!
Toward the end of my quiet time after about 15-20 minutes of nothing really (or so i thought) I looked down toward my feet only to see that i had stepped on an ant hill. I could see little ants running around in every direction, almost as if they wer lost. Next was one of the coolest things i have ever seen.
I looked to the right and saw the "queen ant" coming my way....on her way she would stop at each ant fornearly 2 seconds each time...after each stop the small ants would go in the direction in which im not....finally she gets right to my feet and just stands there....I wanted to step on her...but i couldnt bring myself to.....

To these ants i was danger..and when danger was near so was she (queen ant) she didnt leave them!

God again showed me something that day.....again he showed me that i cant do it alone! When "danger" is near, i cant overcome it myself....all I need to do is reach out my hand and he will Guide me!

God was able to reach this Pondeing Spirit with ANTS
